PNE Construction (PNEC) - a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC Company, is seeking a Laborer who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company and clients.
Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of four divisions include Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC has offices in multiple states.
PNE Construction is a full-service design-build contractor that has the capability to design and build many projects. The Laborer is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks required at the job site, i.e. molding operations, pour operations, saw/grind operations, and operations using considerable physical effort in moving and lifting materials by performing the following duties. This position is part-time and is temporary.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in a laborer position required.
- Will need to obtain basic training (company provided).
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently at times.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.
- Must possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Laborer possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, and other tools as directed by management.
- Cleans and prepares construction sites as needed, including removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
- Maintains a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
- Works safely during all phases of perming the job duties required in the field.
- Shovels materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:
- Move about the jobsite as needed.
- Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.
- Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.
- Responsible for transportation to and from jobsite.
